The Amirkabir Cultural Foundation houses a unique treasury of calligraphic art, a testament to the elegance, skill, and beauty of the Persian script throughout history. This collection comprises seventy exquisite pieces in the Nasta'liq, Shekasteh, and Nask scripts, penned by renowned masters such as Mir Ali Heravi, Mir Emad, Darvish Abdolmajid Taleqani, Vesal Shirazi, Golestaneh, Kaveh, Mirza Taher, Mirkhani, Amirkhani, and Kaboli, as well as a number of contemporary artists. Many of these works bear the artist's signature and the date of creation, adding to their historical value. The collection also includes official decrees, documents, and edicts from the Qajar period, which are of special significance not only artistically but also historically. This collection is a reflection of Iran's cultural and literary identity, showcasing the esteemed position of calligraphy in Iranian art.

Nasta'liq Script by Master Amirkhani
This stunning piece is a captivating example of Nasta’liq script by Master Amirkhani, adorned with masterful illumination (Tazhib) by Mirzaei. Created in 1998, the panel beautifully renders the meaningful verse: “In the lane of love, the glory of kingship is of no value.” Nasta’liq, often renowned as the ‘bride of Iranian scripts’ for its elegance, is displayed here with a delightful composition and harmonious balance, creating an unparalleled visual effect. An Exquisite Work by Vesal
This work by Vesal is a magnificent example of Islamic-Iranian calligraphy, in which the Nask and Thuluth styles are used alongside each other. The legibility and distinct grace of the Nask script, paired with the grand and powerful composition of the Thuluth script, create a visually striking harmony.
